An Evening at The Moore

Miami Design District — with the Longevity Lounge

Most people decide what they will drink before they arrive anywhere. The decision is made in the car, or earlier in the week, or years ago, and it is rarelyannounced. By the time the room opens it has already settled into a posture — the handthat reaches for water, the polite decline, the small choreography of holding nothing. It is aquiet way to spend an evening, and most rooms never notice it happening.

This one had thought about it before the invitations went out.

The Longevity Lounge gathered a small group at The Moore around a question that soundssimple until you sit with it: what can sport teach us about living longer, better, and withpurpose? Dr. Uberto Mondolfi made the case for movement as the most powerful tool wehave for extending not only lifespan but health span. Ginny Hilfiger, in a fireside chat, carried the same question through identity and fashion — what we wear, who we become, how long we intend to keep going.

The evening had already named its own conclusion:longevity is culture.

| RIENNE was invited to pour.

We brought the Copenhagen collection. Lyserød led the night, and it was the drynesspeople kept returning to — elegant, unsweet, far closer to what they had given up expectingfrom a glass. BLÅ and Lysegrøn flowed alongside it all evening. For anyone who wanted alittle heat, the botanical spirits were waiting in the martini.

Guests who had arrived prepared to hold nothing found something in their hand — not aconcession, not a courtesy pour, but a glass they would have chosen. The surprise was not really about the drink. It was about having been expected.

The service team at The Moore moved through the room with a precision that never announced itself. Our thanks to them, and to the Longevity Lounge for the invitation.

Some of those decisions, we suspect, were revised on the way home. The house keeps good company.
