An introduction to Saicho.
Three of Saicho's four expressions — Jasmine, Hojicha, Darjeeling — in 200ml bottles, presented in the brand's illustrated gift box. Designed as the entry point to the family: enough to taste the range, sized to share over one evening, packaged to give.
Inside, three small bottles. Jasmine — aromatic and lifted, hand-layered with fresh blossoms over several nights, green tea from Fujian Province, China. Hojicha — slow-roasted and savory, second-flush Sencha from Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Darjeeling — muscatel and refined, first-flush from a single estate in the Indian Himalayas. Each one cold-brewed for twenty-four hours and finished with a fine carbonation.
Read together, the three teas trace a tasting arc: floral and bright, then deep and savory, then lifted and refined. Three rooms of one composer. For full descriptions and individual Tea Readings™, see Saicho Jasmine, Saicho Hojicha, and Saicho Darjeeling.
The Occasion
Sent to the host of a dinner who hasn't met sparkling tea yet. Given as the introduction — to a friend curious about zero-proof, to a colleague exploring the wine alternatives, to anyone who would appreciate the gesture before the bottle. Brought to a holiday gathering as the contribution. Wrapped for housewarmings, thank-yous, just-because afternoons that deserve more than a card.
Saicho Jasmine — The Presentation
In stock
- Cold-brewed jasmine green tea, soft, floral, and effortlessly balanced.
- Arrives in Saicho's signature illustrated ceremonial presentation box.
- An offering designed for moments of presence and refined celebration.
Given, not just poured.
The standard Saicho Jasmine, in Saicho's illustrated presentation box — the bottle's own artwork rendered larger, designed to arrive on the table as much as in the glass. In this form, the bottle becomes the offering: brought to a dinner, sent to a host, given to mark the season.
Inside is the same Saicho Jasmine — green tea from Fujian Province, hand-layered with fresh jasmine blossoms over several nights, then cold-brewed and finished with a fine carbonation. For the full description and Tea Reading™, see Saicho Jasmine.
The Occasion
Sent to the host of a dinner, in place of the wine bottle. Given as a thank-you to anyone whose week needed the gesture. Brought to a table where someone is not drinking that night, so the moment of pour still belongs to them. Wrapped for spring birthdays, anniversaries, just-because afternoons.
