Rasāsvāda Rose Bergamot
In stock
A taste of bliss in the absence of thought.
Founded in New York by Connor Godfrey — born of a difficult season and the herbal traditions he leaned into to find his way back. The name comes from Sanskrit: rasāsvāda, the taste of bliss when the mind grows quiet. The botanicals come from the traditions Godfrey grew up around — Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Western herbalism — taught early by his cousin Joshua Kaiser, founder of Rishi Tea & Botanicals.
Rose petals and bergamot at the heart, schisandra berry and angelica root beneath, ashwagandha and ginseng grounding the rest. Sixteen plants in all, slowly decocted — simmered down to essence the old way, with nothing added and nothing taken away. Floral at the front. Earthy through the middle. A long, gently bitter close, the way cinchona bark always finishes.
The Pour
Pour it neat over a single ice cube — the way Connor Godfrey takes his, daily. Stir it into a zero-proof Negroni for something more contemplative than celebratory. Or lengthen it with sparkling water and a wide ribbon of orange — when the day asks for stillness rather than spark.
