RIENNE Bottle Stopper
The bottle you don't have to finish.
Every other object in this room was chosen. This one we made.
An opened bottle of something sparkling has always carried a quiet instruction — finish me tonight. It is the last piece of drinking culture that still sets the pace for the person holding the glass, and in a house built on the idea that you decide, it was the one thing left to fix.
Engraved metal in brushed gold, weighted in the hand, the four petals of the mark cut into the cap. Two hinged arms close beneath the bottle's lip and lock under the thumb — a seal that holds pressure, so what you opened tonight is the same bottle tomorrow. Bolle keeps its mousse. Copenhagen keeps its bead. Nothing is lost by stopping at one.
One glass is a complete evening. This is the object that says so.
