Saicho Hojicha — The Presentation
Given, not just poured.
The standard Saicho Hojicha, in Saicho's illustrated presentation box — the bottle's own artwork rendered larger, designed to arrive on the table as much as in the glass. In this form, the bottle becomes the offering: brought to a dinner, sent to a host, given to mark the season.
Inside is the same Saicho Hojicha — green tea from Shizuoka, slow-roasted in the Kyoto tradition until the leaf turns deep amber, then cold-brewed and finished with a fine carbonation. For the full description and Tea Reading™, see Saicho Hojicha.
The Occasion
Sent to the host of a winter dinner, in place of the red. Given to anyone whose week needed warming more than lifting. Brought to a table where someone is not drinking that night, so the moment of pour still belongs to them. Wrapped for late birthdays, anniversaries, the long evenings between holidays.
